Charm City Therapy is looking for a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our growing team in Frederick, MD. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to special education evaluations and planning
- Connect students and families to community resources and support services
- Identify and report suspected child abuse or neglect in accordance with mandated reporter guidelines
- Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and progress reports
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Current LMSW or LCSW licensure in the state of Maryland
- Experience working with school-age children and adolescents preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, IDEA, and special education frameworks
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards

Compensation: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour
