About the Role:
Charm City Therapy is looking for a passionate and dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist to join our team in Baltimore, MD — available as either a part-time or full-time opportunity! This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by helping them reach their full physical potential in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in a school-based setting
- Evaluate and assess students' physical needs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and assistive technology as needed
- Provide consultation and training to school staff on physical therapy strategies and student needs
Requirements:
- Valid Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license or ability to obtain licensure
- Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and student-focused approach to care

Compensation: $55.00 - $68.00 per hour
